Bodhrán Workshop – All Levels/All Ages with Les Starkey
You’ll learn (or review) session etiquette, how to sit/strike and hold the tipper and bodhrán, how to recognize the various tune rhythms played in a traditional Irish session including reels, jigs, polkas, hornpipes, slides and waltzes.
‘Seasoned’ players will be shown some new tricks or methods of performing live or honing skills they already have and learning to enhance the music around them in any session.
Cost for Comhaltas/Hamilton Irish Arts members: $20
