David will lead you through a fun and easy-to-learn method that will have you creating your own knot patterns in no time at all. Great for those new to it and for those wanting a challenge, David will be able to provide more advanced options. You’ll come away being able to Impress your family and friends with these complex yet simple designs. Please bring a pencil, fine-tip marker and colouring pencils, fine markers or other colour medium of their choice.

David Rankine
For almost 40 years, David Rankine has been at the forefront of the Celtic Visual Arts revival in Canada. Heavily inspired by the master artists of the Book Of Kells, David has applied his extensive knowledge of sacred art and design to his very contemporary works of Celtic Art. His artworks have been collected internationally and extend into the areas of book covers, CD covers and rug and jewellery design. David is also an educator and musician (playing Mountain Dulcimer, Highland Pipes and Small Pipes) and the creator of 10 CDs of original music and numerous books and articles.
