All ages and experience are welcome to join in! Lots of activities to celebrate Samhain!
Samhain is the ancient Celtic origins of Hallowe’en and the time of year when the division between this world and the otherworld was at its thinnest, allowing spirits to pass through. For hundreds of years, people have been dressing in disguise (now costumes) to distract and confuse the spirits. We highly encourage attendees to dress up and enjoy the traditions of Samhain with us!
Join us for fun Samhain activities starting with a kids ceili at 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm, as well as traditional Samhain crafts!
Regular ceili starting at 8 p.m. with a wee break for some old Samhain stories with Ciaran Myers.
Get ready to enjoy delicious soup, fresh rolls, tasty concessions, and a fully stocked bar—all available for purchase!
The Grand River Ceili Band will play live as our caller walks you through the dances. Wear comfy shoes, bring a reusable water bottle, and get ready for some good craic!
Advance adult tickets are $22, and youth 5 – 17 years are $10. Tickets may be purchased at the door for $30 (adult), and children/youth 5-18 years old are $14. Kids under 5 are free.
