May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rains fall soft upon your fields
and until we meet again
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

The St. Patrick’s Parade Society are the custodians of a tradition to celebrate Ireland’s history, culture and heritage through entertainment. We are a not for profit, event staging organization, responsible for numerous Irish events throughout the year. We annually organize the Grand Marshal Ball, the St. Patrick’s Parade Lunch, Celtic Island, and Toronto’s St. Patrick’s Parade.

The St. Patrick’s Parade Society is pleased to announce Brian Burke as the 2024 Grand Marshal. The respected hockey executive will lead dozens of marching bands, floats and dance troupes through the streets of downtown Toronto on Sunday, March 17.

This year’s parade will take place on Sunday, March 17th, beginning at 12pm.

Toronto’s St. Patrick’s Parade is one of the largest community events in the city and is the largest celebration of Irish culture anywhere in Canada.

Shaun Ruddy, Chairperson of the St. Patrick’s Parade Society of Toronto, said:

“The parade is not only a celebration of Irish heritage and culture but also a great opportunity to promote the city of Toronto and its diversity.

“It’s not just a great opportunity to enjoy a fun day out with the family, but it also provides an opportunity for people to learn about Irish culture and history.

“The parade also features a variety of community groups, schools and cultural organizations, highlighting the city’s diversity.”
