TUESDAY IRISH MUSIC SESSION AT THE CORKTOWN!
June 28 @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, repeating until December 31, 2022
Sessions are interesting phenomena. They are the best example of what Irish music is about. It’s an intangible thing that has to be experienced to be understood. The session is the life–blood of traditional music, and with the session goes the associated notion of “craic”.
Every Tuesday at the Corktown Pub, 175 Young Street, Hamilton, Ontario, L8N 1V7
Music will get underway at 7:30 p.m., and will conclude at 10:30.
We ask, in the spirit of friendship and kinship, that everyone does their utmost to respect the health of others. We strongly encourage all those who come to the Corktown to be vaccinated.
A special note to musicians:
- We will continue to strive to maintain space between musicians. When you arrive, please do not move the chairs or try to add more chairs to the performing circle. If there are more musicians than chairs, we will endeavour to ensure that everyone gets a chance to perform.
- If you play a whistle or flute, please remember to bring a “spit towel” with you so that aerosols can be contained.
We hope to see you there!
